Below are descriptions of the races/cultures of my books with their individual powers. Enjoy!
Leici (Lay-SEE)
Power: Healing
Physical Characteristics: Blonde hair with blue or green eyes; brown hair for special female leaders
Typical Living Quarters: Tree houses
Other Traits: Typically peace-makers, they are logical and calm in temperament. They are usually lead by a female leader with more healing strength than the others.
Eritam (EAR-uh-tam)
Power: Wolf-Tamer
Physical Characteristics: Usually white or silver hair that matches the color of their wolves; yellow or green canine eyes
Typical Living Quarters: Dens on the forest floor
Other Traits: Tough, strong, society structured around packs and ranks from Alpha to Omega. There is a pack healer for every pack that is unranked.
Naymatua (Nay-muh-TWO-uh)
Power: Earth
Physical Characteristics: Dark skin and hair
Typical Living Quarters: Rainforests and orchards with roots as a home
Other Traits: Peacemakers, they rarely engage in warfare. They have unique staffs that indicate skill, rank, or other information about them. They are lead by a Chief or Chieftess.
Ningyo (NING-yo)
Power: Water
Physical Characteristics: Tan skin and brown or black hair; brown eyes
Typical Living Quarters: Huts by rivers, oceans, or other bodies of water
Other Traits: Passionate people, they will get involved or not involved based on their emotions. They wield spears in addition to their water powers.
Kinzoku (Kin-ZO-koo)
Power: Metal/Jewels
Physical Characteristics: Pale skin with red or black hair
Typical Living Quarters: Caves, Mountains, or Mines
Other Traits: As weapon makers, they are typically involved in most wars. They are well-versed in the art of many weapons, but usually use an axe or a hammer. They are lead by a Vizeheir.
Draconian (Dray-KO-nee-un)

Power: Dragon-Tamer
Physical Characteristics: Hair color matches the color of the dragon’s scales; Reptilian eyes; Skin colors vary by region
Typical Living Quarters: Near or by a volcano for warmth
Other Traits: Loyal and adventurous, Draconians are known for their friendships. They are also very skilled in the air. Rarely reproducing, growth in the Draconian clan is very slow.
Pyros (PIE-rose)
Power: Fire
Physical Characteristics: Tan skin, black or brown hair, brown eyes
Typical Living Quarters: Desert sandstone houses
Other Traits: Usually ruled by a King, they live near an oasis in the desert. They make unique glass sculptures and windows.
Equus (EK-wiss)
Art Credit Unknown
Power: Unicorn-Tamer
Physical Characteristics: Pale skin, brown hair, brown eyes
Typical Living Quarters: Yurts on grasslands
Other Traits: Typically patriarchal, ruled by a King. Although they have a castle, they prefer to live in yurts, travelling to grasslands all over to supply their unicorns.
Lycan (LIE-kin)
Power: Wildcat-Tamer
Physical Characteristics: Usually have the same color of hair as their wildcat and have feline eyes. They also have feathers throughout their hair. Sometimes they will have spotted or striped hair colors.
Typical Living Quarters: Dens in forests or jungles
Other Traits: Typically matriarchal, ruled by a Queen. Men are called Toms until given a unique name by their wife. Their wildcats can grow big enough to pull them in chariots, which are their main modes of transportation.
Ixite (ICKS-ite)

Power: Griffin-Tamer
Physical Characteristics: Black hair, almond shaped eyes, pale skin
Typical Living Quarters: Houses or castles on cliffs
Other Traits: Quiet, reserved, and secretive, the Ixite prefer to be isolated from the world.
Alephari (Al-eh-FAR-ee)
Power: Light
Physical Characteristics: Either have white, silver, blonde, or black hair with brown or golden eyes
Typical Living Quarters: Houses in the mountains or houses in sunny valleys
Other Traits: They can use their light to become “invisible” or to light up dark places. Some of them chose to live on Safarast as mortals to serve at the temple.
Hafif (Half-EEF)
Power: No known power
Physical Characteristics: Can look like any of the other races
Typical Living Quarters: Wooden or stone houses in a valley or near farmland
Other Traits: Hafif are natural leaders. Even though they don’t have any “known” power, they are typically the ones who rule over the other races (if the races choose to live together). They can choose any occupation.
